"The great thing about IPE is that it helped me shape exactly the sort of degree I wanted to pursue. IPE is a track that exposes its students to learning the effects of politics on the global economy, trade, development, international business and many other interesting topics. From the beginning, I always had a feeling IPE would be my chosen track and by the time I was through with IRG 301 I was sure of it. Through my track classes, I was exposed to the world of global development, which is currently the career path I would like to pursue. So I made sure to reflect that in the classes I chose. One of my favorites from the track being BGS 374 Global Political Economy. I read case studies on companies and countries all over the world facing various political and economic issues. It was almost all discussion based which challenged me immensely, but that is exactly what every IPE class will do for its students."
